David Bryant is a Group Leader at the Cancer Research UK Beatson Institute and University of Glasgow. His PhD studies (with Prof. Jenny Stow) on the cross-talk between receptor tyrosine kinases and cadherin molecules was at the Institute for Molecular Bioscience in Queensland, Australia. His postdoc (with Prof. Keith Mostov) at UC San Francisco, examined the mechanisms of apical-basal polarisation in 3-Dimensional Culture. David’s laboratory focuses on the mechanisms of cell polarity during development and how these go awry in cancer. His laboratory is developing cutting-edge technologies to image and understand heterogeneity in cancer biology, particularly using 3-Dimensional cultures.
